NX New name required in Name Parts dialog in order for OK to become available

When attempting to save a new part, a name had to be entered in the Name Parts dialog box in order for OK to become available. 

Solution

The customer default (File -> Utilities -> Customer Defaults) was set to 'New Name Always Required' under Gateway -> General -> File New tab.  Switching the Customer Default to 'Accept or Provide New Name', which is the out-of-the-box setting, and restarting NX resolved the issue.
