NX Internal error occurs when executing "Open Parent in Window" directly in Variation Analysis

"Internal error : memory access violation occurs when executing "Open Parent in Window" and "Open in Window" directly in Variation Analysis environment after opening an assembly which has "Measurement Operation" in Variation Analysis.

Preparation:

1.Create an assembly which have 2 components.( each components have a simple sold body and a datum feature symbol. Display the datum feature symbols in top assembly by using "PMI Assembly Filters")

2.In Variation Analysis environment, create a data as indicated in a picture below.( create a process by "Creating Model", define "Point Data" - "Individual Points" in "Pin Feature Property" and add "Measurement Operation")

3.Make sure the analysis item such as "Measurement Operation" is activated(toggled on)

4.Save the part and close it

Reproduced steps:

1.Open an assembly

2.Change environment ( from Variation Analysis) to Modeling

3.Change back to variation

4.ANT > select model1 component > MB3 > "Open in Window"

5.ANT > select model1 component > MB3 > "Open Parent in Window" > assembly

6."Internal error : memory access violation" occurs

***When not occurring the problem, please execute Step2-5 above again.

The problem occurs in NX 1953 – NX 2007. The behavior is due to NX bug, but it has been fixed in NX 2206.

Work around:

When operating assembly command such as “Open in Window” in Variation Analysis, keep to deactivate the analysis item such as “Add Measurement Operation”.

Or operate assembly command such as “Open in Window” from Modeling environment, not operate it directly in Variation Analysis.
