NX Moving a component is not arrangement specific

When moving a component, and then switching back to a previous arrangement, the component is not moving back to the original location. Once moving a component, that component stays in that location in all arrangements. How to get the component position to be arrangement specific?

Under Component Properties on the 'Parameters' tab, the component most likely is using 'Uses Shared Position'.  Change this to 'Individually Positioned'.

Also, there is a setting on the 'Move Component' dialog under the Setting grouping, "Arrangements = Apply to Used", that will automatically switch the component from 'Uses Shared Position' to 'Individually Positioned' during the Move command.  This setting on the Move Component dialog does seem to be remembered by Dialog Memory.

Lastly, there is a setting in Customer Defaults under 'Assemblies-->Positioning-->Interface (tab). Under the General group, "Arrangements = Apply to Used"...this will also automatically switch a component's properties to 'Individually Positioned' during a Move operation. Now when using "Apply to Used" and the 'Individually Positioned' component setting, the component can be moved to different locations in individual arrangements.
