NX Can assigned material to solid body be inherited via STEP export/import in a NX round trip?

If you assign a material to a solid body via Tools --> Assign Materials, when you export the file to step, what settings must be used to ensure the material is inherited?

Only export Step242 can inherit the assigned material. 

When you export step242 --> Data to Export tab -->you need to use "Entire Part" --> Advanced tab --> toggle on these settings below:

Export User Defined Attributes, Export System Attributes and Geometric.

When you open step 242 file back into NX, you need to toggle User Defined Attributes ON:
