I want to see detailed OPC UA logs for my MindConnect device, e.g. to troubleshoot a problem.

How can I do that?

Solution

With the release of firmware version V03.04.02.12 b003, you can change the configuration setting of OPC UA logs. 

  • Open your agent asset
    • Click Onboarding settings

    • Change Diagnostic Settings to 'Debug'


    • Please keep in mind that when you change level to 'Debug', every detailed message from OPC server gets logged. If you don't have any connection problem with OPC UA, we recommend to not use the debug mode to prevent unnecessary file uploads to Mindsphere. 

      Notes

      The debug mode for S7 is currently not available.
