Templates are not found in the 'File-->New' dialog.
Solution
If NX was launched from Active Workspace, check to make sure the NX role has access to the ItemTypes of the templates.
The role used in Active Workspace may not be the same role used in NX.
1. In NX, select 'File-->Preferences-->Teamcenter Integration'.
2. Select the 'Database' tab.
3. Change the role to a role that has access to the ItemTypes of the PAX files (if PAX files are stored in Teamcenter), the ItemTypes listed in the PAX files, and the ItemType of the template files themselves.
Active Workspace and NX do not synchronize roles, so it may be that the role in Active Workspace has access to the PAX files and templates, but the role of the user in NX does not.
