An unexpected error occurred when importing the Solid Edge templates into Teamcenter.
Solution
Here are a couple of things to look for when receiving errors adding templates to Teamcenter:
1. "Out of the box" properties Document Number, Revision, and Project Name (assuming using the default behavior where Project Name = Item Name) should be empty. Make sure that there is no custom property named Teamcenter Item Type.
2. No custom properties that are related to Teamcenter, like a timestamp, should be showing when the file is loaded into Teamcenter via Add to Teamcenter.
Preparing the template for upload as stated above should result in successful import.
