MCD UA Signal Server cannot be connected on specific workstation.
Preparing MCD OPC UA Server first time (and save the model) it works well.
When NX crashed during simulation, and NX is restarted, the model reopened, and "create UA Server" (with message: Server has been created) all seems ready to go.

However in this stage it is impossible to connect to this UA-server in anymore.
The connection cannot be reestablished via: 


 - UAExpert (message failedBadCommunicationError), and/or via 
 - another (2nd) NX-session cannot connect anymore 

Solution

The NX MCD server session was ended abnormal (killed or crashed...). 
Then the "Discovery Url " seems to get unusable, and stays that way even after rebooting the system.
When this sate appears on a workstation, then we find following work around to "release" that Url: 
 
- Open the UA-server NX partfile on another workstation (node); 
- Create UA (opc server). A new Discovery Url is used; 
- Save the part (in this state, the new url is saved). 
- Open this part on the original (problem) workstation, and again Create UA (now new url is create/refreshed) 
Now the server is available again. 
Basically this procedure it is forcing to acquire a new URL, which is not done if you open the partfile with a "matching" url saved in the partfile.


This will be fixed in NX 2007 (December release).
