NX Early Access Feature Error is Displayed after Installing a New Version of NX

A CAM programmer would like to evaluate some of the NX pre-released software options. This software is enabled on the Early Access Feature menu. When installing the next major release of NX an error message is displayed concerning the Early Access Feature. Where is the file that stores this data?

Solution

The Early Access Features options are stored in the C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Siemens\NX<version>\feature_toggle_user.fcg file. When the new version of NX is launched the first time the FCG file is copied from the previous NX version. Development recommends that users delete the FCG file with each major release. This is necessary because the feature toggles change from release to release. Starting in NX1980, users will have the option to export a list of the changes to a spreadsheet or to a configuration file.
