NX Select Predicted Objects is not available, even if it is enabled.

Select Predicted Objects does not work with legacy product numbers in the license file.
The Scene toolbar→Select Predicted Objects does not show when an edge is selected for (e.g.) Edge Blend.
Below picture shows what is expected:

Another observation: (Edit>) Selection > Enable Selection Object Prediction Engine is greyed-out and cannot be changed.

Solution

Predictive Selection feature and Machine learning is only added to the "new product numbers" introduced since NX1926. 

Meaning that if product:
 - NX13300 NX Mach 3 Industrial Design, is on the license file, then it needs to be upgraded to the new product: NX93300
- NX13100 NX Mach 3 Product Design, is on the license file, then it needs to be upgraded to the new product: NX93100
- NX13110, then upgrade to NX93110

Contact your account manager if needed.
