When does the agent quota get consumed? 

How can I reduce the agent count? 

Technically any asset type under the type core.basicagent type can become an agent. The agent count quota is consumed when the agent is registered, depending on the agent this may vary.  

For example, the agent count is quantifying: 

• MindConnectLib, this asset doesn't quantify as an agent (does not consume the agent available quota) until the security profile is selected. Then that asset is now considered and also counted as an agent.
• For NANObox and IoT2040 the moment the agent Unique ID: ####### is added; then the agent count is quantifyed. 

The count will only be reduced once the agent it's deleted from the tenant.
