Summary

Details

Suppose there is a drawing part file. In the drawing, there are three different notes as below.

1. Note

2. Note
    1

3. Note
    1 (Underlined note)

When you execute the Check-Mate test [Template] > [Drafting] > [Check Multi-line Text in Note or Group] with the default settings, then only one note (note no. 1) passes the Check-Mate test.
Why other notes are not passing the check-mate test?

Solution

There is only one note that exactly matches the text "Note" to search when the Match Type is set to EXACT.  With "Concatenate Multi-line" being turned on, the other two notes have the text "Note 1", not exactly match the searching text "Note".

If you want the Check-Mate test to be passed for all of the notes then you can use any of the below two methods.
Method 1: In the Customization, dialog turn off "Concatenate Multi-line".
Method 2: In the Customization dialog, set the searching text to be "Note*", set the Match Type to PATTERN, and turn on "Concatenate Multi-line" so that both "Note" and "Note 1" will match the searching text pattern "Note*", which makes all three notes pass the test.
