I know that if the internet connection to Mindconnect Device is disconnected the data will be buffered in the device.
What will happen to the data in the buffer if we power off or restart the device?
Solution
There are 2 different buffers within the MindConnect Nano.
A temporary and a persistent buffer.
If the connection to the internet was interrupted, the agent starts to save the data to the temporary buffer. As soon as this is full, it will start to shift the oldest data in the buffer to the persistent buffer.
If the MindConnect Nano is restarted, then all data in the temporary buffer will be lost, but the data in the persistent buffer is saved and can be uploaded as soon as the connection is back again.
