NX MCD shows Runtime Error message: "MCD does not support mixed unit simulation"

Simulate (play) MCD raised the Runtime error message: "MCD does not support mixed unit simulation"
 

Solution

Mixed Units, means that the assembly contains both inch and millimeter parts. Currently (NX 1980 series) MCD can only work with assemblies that are all the same units, either inch or millimeters. 
To fix this issue make sure all components have the same units. 


You can find the units of components by adding the Units column to the Assembly Navigator, or do Menu --> Information --> Part --> Loaded Parts which will list the Units for every loaded part.
