NX Error code 670219 while exporting parasolid from NX Manager

Error code  670219 while exporting Parasolid from NX Manager.


Also, unable to import *.x_b Parasolid file. This file extension is on the list of OOTB file types for the UGMASTER dataset. Possible to add it manually or import as other file type?

Solution

The steps below are from an old version of Teamcenter but are still applicable.  There's a couple of screenshots as well.  This will need to be done by your Teamcenter Database Admin. as you need to make the changes in BMIDE.






SYMPTOM/PROBLEM
---------------




The user is unable to import a parasolid into iMAN as a Named Reference.  The system does not allow the user to submit the file as a *.x_b.   The system only allows the extension of *.x_t or *.xmt_txt.




The user receives the following error:




This associated file was not imported to the iMAN database during the partsave. This is probably because its file type (extension)is not permitted by this database as a associated file.




Exporting files for the xxxxx.x_b


Files not listed here were imported successfully.  Please see your system administrator if you expected this file to have been imported.






SOLUTION/WORKAROUND

1. From the BMIDE . . . 


2. Select Type and expand Dataset Type


3. Highlight UGMASTER and select UGII V10 All under Tool




4. Select References




5. Select the '+' icon and Add:




                               Reference - Parasolid 


                               File/Object - File


                               File - *.x_b


                               Format - BINARY

NOTE - need to add this in both the References tab and ToolActions tab.
