NX How to show NX model saved time history in Teamcenter?

Is there a similar command in TC that will output NX model Save Time the same way as Part History within the NX application?

Solution

There isn't anything in TC to show save history of data in the same detailed way as NX's Part History command. But TC has certain tools that may come close.


TOOL#1:
There is a Checkout history of any dataset/file – but this is only if user explicitly checks out the object as opposed to loading it in NX which implicitly checks out the object.

TOOL#2:
Teamcenter stores previous versions of datasets (normally 3 off-the-shelf; see TC preference "AE_dataset_default_keep_limit"). These previous saved versions can be queried to look at their modified date as save history. 


Use steps below to set up this query in TC:
(1) Toggle this option OFF (Edit > Options... > Search > General > Latest Dataset Versions)

(2) Click on "Open Search View":

(3) Set the search criteria to General…

(4) Type in dataset name and click Execute search:

(5) In the Search Results window, highlight the line "General…(x)", and this will populate information in the Details window. Make sure to configure/turn-on necessary columns in Details window using "column…" option located on the top-right corner down arrow icon, turn on "Version Number" and "Date Modified" columns.

(6) The Version Number indicates the sequence order when data is being saved. And the Date Modified column indicates the date and time of the save.
