After set the view font to Japanese (Yu Mincho, Yu Gothic, etc.) in the visualization settings, execute Publish Technical Data Package command and then try to open the created PDF file in Acrobat Reader. JavaScript – Font error is output.
Reproduced Steps: 1.Prepare for a simple assembly/a component like below. 2.File > Preferences > Visualization, In the Visualization Preferences > View > Decollations > set it as Yu Mincho > OK. 3. Exit NX > start NX with Japanese mode (UGII_LANG=Japanese) 4.PMI > Publish Technical Package > As the method, select "3D PDF"/"A4 – Assembly-Portrait" > OK 5.Open the output PDF file in Acrobat Reader
Solution
The phenomenon is due to NX bug, and the issue has already been fixed in NX 1980.
Work Around:
1.No issue happens in English mode. 2.In case of using Japanese mode, please use "Arial" or other fonts other than Japanese fonts.
Notes and References
