Solid Edge How to export my Solid Edge Piping design to a .PCF file?

A customer wants to export his Solid Edge MPD (Module Plant Design) design to a PCF (Piping Component File) file so he can import this into their simulation software.  How to create a PCF file with Solid Edge MPD?

Solution

This is possible with the ISOMETRIC application. In Step 3 of the wizard you can select to "Keep the PCF file in output folder"

   

The PCF is now available:

To export a complete piping design, you can start the generation on TopLevel.
You can also make a Style where you switch off the Drawing generation.
