Summary

Details

When trying to execute Unite command, selecting both of Target and Tool is required. If those two are not selected, Unite command cannot be applied due to No OK or Apply button is available to finish the command.

However, when editing the Unite command, the command succeeds even if no target is selected. It means succeeding the function if the target is released.

Reproduced Steps:

1.Creates 2 solid bodies
2.Executing Unite command

3.Go to edit the Unite feature > release the target > OK

Solution

The behavior is working as expected.

When user launches the dialog to create Unite Feature, target must be provided.

However, if user edits that feature, target can be changed or deselected. Because we hope to make the Unite Feature more robust during edit or update.

The picture below shows a case where three Booleans are created by one time operation of Unite command, and two of the three created bodies do not have tools.
