Solid Edge The Replace Background command returns to the default Template folder again and again

The 'Browse...' button within the 'Replace Background' dialog always opens the default Template folder, for example C:\Program Files\Siemens\Solid Edge 2021\Template.  If the draft document with the prepared background sheets is placed somewhere else, for example in a folder on a server to be easily accessible for everyone, the user has to manually browse to this folder.  This needs to be done again and again because the selected folder is not retained and is always reset to the default Template folder.

Solution

These clicks to select the folder on the server can be reduced by creating a shortcut on the operating system in the default Template folder that points to the folder on the server.

Next time when the user needs to browse to the folder again, the sort order of the column 'Name' can be reversed and the folder on the server can be easily opened by double-clicking on the prepared shortcut.
