Summary
Details
(1) Install Teamcenter Active WorkSpace Launcher in client PC.
(2) Login to AWC from Google Chrome.
(3) In the Home folder, create a new Item and Item Revision test01/A.
(4) In Item Revision test01/A, Click [New] -> [Open in NX]
(5) Open openinxn.xntcxml
(6) Then the following error occurs and cannot create a new NX part.
"There are no parts in the database for the selected part file type. Contact your system administrator."
Solution
Verify and confirm if the seed files are exactly placed in the infodba login as mentioned in the below snapshot? If you have changed the Unigraphics Seed parts Folder or moved the seed files somewhere else then move them back to the original location as per the below snap.
Also, check if the physical dataset available in the database for these seed files. If not then get them manually created by creating the dataset in TC and then import the seed file data in the Named Reference with the exact same name as mentioned in the below snapshot.
You can find these seed files under the TC_ROOT directory, like "C:\apps\TC13\tc_root\data"
The name of the files are -
ugmgr_metric.prt ugmgr_inch.prt
For Specification - ugmgr_dwg_metric.prt ugmgr_dwg_inch.prt
