About the mass sequence of the assembly navigator and the part navigator

The mass of the body whose reference set is other than MODEL is hidden in the data with multiple bodies.


(In the assembly navigator, it is not added up.)

 

Solution

The contribution reference set for mass properties calculation will follow the Mass Properties Reference Set Precedence in customer default.


If it is empty, then we use MODEL or Empty as a contribution reference set.


Go to File > Utilities > Customer Defaults > Gateway > Materials/Mass > Miscellaneous Tab. Refer to the below snapshot-

So, if our Part File uses MODEL as a contribution reference set.


So that only the bodies in the contribution reference set will be counted and displayed their values in part navigator columns.
