Details
Question about the following description of the product note "Updates for the default tessUG.config JT configuration file" in the release notes ------------------------ Make sure you delete all the references to the activateCsysPMI option in the JT configuration file.
If activateCsysPMI = true is set anywhere in the configuration file, the translator stops the translation process. ------------------------- 1. What is the detailed behavior of saying that the translation process stops when the "activateCsysPMI" option is not deleted? (The entire translation process stops. Or, only the activateCsysPMI translation process is not executed, etc.) 2. Also, what is the impact of deleting the"activateCsysPMI" option? 3. We have set this option to "true" in the current version. If we delete it, we think that the elements defined by this option cannot be translated. Is this correct?
Solution
1. Yes, if the translator finds a deprecated option, the translation process will exit and no JTs will be created, with Syslog mentioning below string: Deprecated Configuration options detected. Please update your translator configuration file to the latest file shipped with NX, apply your settings and retry. Please refer to NX help for more information.
2. activateCsysPMI is renamed to activateDatums activateCsysPMI is now renamed to activateDatums so deleting activateCsysPMI will not affect the translation of objects like datums, csys which was earlier controlled by activateCsysPMI
3. activateDatums will take care of deleted (deprecated ) setting : activateCsysPMI
