How to specify Sketch horizontal reference in NX1953
1) Finish the sketch after specifying the placement face.
2) Edit the sketch and use Reattach
3) The sketch Orientation panel will display the Reference direction options
4) select the geometry to indicate the desired direction.
This issue will be addressed in NX1980 and users will be able to specify the direction during initial sketch creation time.

In order to specify a Reference Direction other than the current ABS orientation for a sketch in NX1953, the user must do the following.1) Finish the sketch after specifying the placement face.
2) Edit the sketch and use Reattach
3) The sketch Orientation panel will display the Reference direction options
4) select the geometry to indicate the desired direction.
This issue will be addressed in NX1980 and users will be able to specify the direction during initial sketch creation time.
