You cannot log in to Business Intelligence because all licenses are in use. You want to reclaim some licenses that are no longer used.

Solution

Depending on the Business Intelligence offering purchased, the number of creator and user licenses varies. However, here are important notes to remember:

  • Sharing a license with multiple uses is not permitted.
    • Tenant administrators cannot reassign licenses.
      • Removing the Business Intelligence role from a user does not immediately free up the license. Only after four weeks of nonuse will the license become available again.

        If purchasing an upgrade is not feasible and the timeframe is urgent, please contact the Insights Hub support team via Support Center for assistance. Please remember, licenses cannot be reassigned frequently.
