Details

Customer has some custom Solid Edge Items in their Teamcenter environment that they want to promote to a company standard.  Customer wants to add the managed part to a new category in the Standard Parts Administrator. 

Solution

Preparation:


With Solid Edge create your new part, save and assign an Item in Teamcenter and close Solid Edge.
This part has some variables to use later in the categories.
