Solid Edge Unable to insert text in Hole Table user defined column

The user adds a new user defined column on an existing Hole Table by editing the Hole Table properties.

Selecting the Hole Number tab the user wants to add text that corresponds with one of the holes shown in the table.

When they apply to confirm the text disappears.

Solution

In regard to custom properties, Hole Table does not support adding custom property text into a cell in a specific row.

The user can insert plain text into user defined columns by using the Data tab in the properties dialog or by activating the quick edit mode by double-clicking on the table in draft.  In quick edit mode, the user can directly insert the text into the user defined columns.

Double click on the Hole Table in draft, then insert the text:

Edit Hole Table properties then in Data mode insert the text:
