How to adjust Refraction or Index of refraction(IOR) settings when NX_RTS_IRAY = 1
Solution
There is a control on the View Preferences dialog to control this. On the View tab, go to 'More' and select 'Preferences'. Now select 'Studio Rendering' from the list on the left. Now you can select the 'Editing Mode' The default is 'Basic' and this reduces the number of attributes that can be changed. If you change it to 'Full' you now have access to all of the attributes, including 'IOR'.
When you edit the material and find 'IOR', placing your cursor over 'IOR' will display additional help on the setting.
