NX How to create a gap between edges of flanges

The ' Sheet Metal from Solid' feature will only joint two edges of the flanges. There is no way to make it leave a gap:

This must be done individually on each corner by adding a 'Closed Corner' feature:

Note that 'Help' states that we cannot directly add corner relief in the 'Sheet Metal from Solid' feature:
