Solid Edge Understanding Explode commands such as MOVE and ROTATE in 3D Publishing

What are the differences of the explode commands 'Move Parts' vs. 'Expand Move Parts' and 'Rotate Parts' vs. 'Radial Move Parts'. They mainly seem to do the same.

Move Parts  -  Move selected parts.
Expand Move Parts  -  Linearly move selected parts relative to the explode step axis.

Rotate Parts  -  Rotate selected parts relative to the explode step axis.

Indeed, if you select a single part to move or rotate there is not much difference.

The 'Expand Move Parts' and 'Radial Move Parts' explode commands are designed to move multiple parts at one time, creating a spacing between the parts.

The main key here is to select multiple parts. 

Expand Move Parts  –  Move the selected parts along an axis at different amounts, in effect spacing them out along a line.

Radial Move Parts  –  Move the selected parts radially away from the center point between the parts, in effect spacing them out from a center point on a plane.
