NX Japanese name Solidworks data does not open in NX

When trying to open Solidworks data which has Japanese character in its file name, an error occurs and cannot open it.

Step to reproduce: 


1.File > Open and change to "SolidWorks Files" as the file type to be opened.

Solution

It's fixed in NX2007.




Work Around:
Rename the part file name into English character.

Notes and References

This problem does not occur with all double-byte characters but occurring with some characters. Therefore, please make use of the workaround above described in Solution field only if you encounter the issue.
