Insights Hub Data source limits in Business Intelligence Data

Attempting to use more values in a data source results in a warning message.

When specifying update frequency, the data source values exceed the stated maximum, resulting in a warning message.

It is recommended not to exceed the specified limit for values in data sources. To reduce the number of values:

• Reduce the ingest rate.
• Shorten the time range.
• Preprocess the data. e.g., Use Visual Flow Creator, then use that data in Business Intelligence.
• Divide the data into multiple sources. e.g., One source with lots of data but low updates. One source with just the latest data but updated more frequently.

Finally, you can choose to override the limitation in the "Choose update mechanism" section by clicking on the Override limitation button and specifying a new limitation. With this change, you must be aware that this can affect the update time of your data. You have the risk that your data source behavior will be different from the current configuration.
