Using the "Expressions", found in expressions table, in "Post Builder" to output nc code. Expressions can be accessed by selecting the "Ribbon" in the "Utilities" group under "Expressions". Please see the image below.
Solution
The expressions must be available in the "Expressions" table. (please see image below.)
The TCL code, found in "Postbuilder", calls for the value of the expression (see sample code below - using Postbuilder).
Note: Two variables are assigned the expression values found in the table.
my_part_num_value is assigned the value of the expression "PLMS_part_num"
my_part_revnum_value is assigned the value of the expression "PLMS_part_revnum"
