How to change the color of a component in an assembly back to its original color.

Solution

If you want to revert to the default Part Color of the Assembly Component, then Right Click (MB3) on the said component in Assembly Navigator Tab and select Properties. In the Component Properties Dialog, Switch OFF the option "Specific Component Color" and click OK. refer below snapshot for your reference.
