Blockfont.fnt is unable to create superscript and subscript.
SolutionThis is a limitation of the old NX .fnx fonts. .
TTF(True Type Fonts) contain within their character set the information intended to be used for superscript, subscript, etc. while the old NX (.fnt) fonts do not.
While the NX fonts are an option in the font pulldown, along with wingdings which are a TTF and they don't have super or subscript either.
Blockfont.fnx was made created specifically for Microfiche back on VMS operating system, 1980's era main frame days, so it is still around to populate ancient or older drawings. This is why it is still a valid reason for it being in the font dropdown.
While Blockfont.fnx does have the ability to create special characters within the Drafting application creating a Note, it doesn't have the unique super and subscript characters.
This is working by design, PLMS recommends altering your default NX part text to a TTF that contains a complete character set that meets your requirements.
