Solid Edge Only draft template available for new document creation.

Only draft template available for new document creation, unable to get other document type (part/sheet metal/assembly) template.

Solution

This can happen if user is using Solid Edge in 'Free 2D Drafting mode'. In this case for any new document creation only draft templates are available. From Solid Edge License utility select the appropriate license option and should get the other documents.
