NX Dependency between upward face chosen and inferred bending directions in flat pattern view

Can you enlighten upon the dependency between upward face chosen to create flat pattern view and bending directions that are inferred?

Solution

Upward face is an user input.


If the included angle between two adjacent upward faces are within 180 degrees, then the bend direction is "UP"  else it is "DOWN"
