Is it possible to configure the client to point to different floating license servers such that Solid Edge/SEEC is hosted on one license server and Teamcenter is hosted on a different license server?
Solution
Yes, this is technically possible.
Teamcenter uses the environment variable SPLM_LICENSE_SERVER to define the location of
the FlexLM Server.
Since Solid Edge 2020, Solid Edge uses the environment variable SE_LICENSE_SERVER.
Defining these two environment variables differently will allow the licenses to be checked out from different license servers e.g.
Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Environment Variables > System Variables:
