While importing parts into Teamcenter, the operation fails with the below error. 

The value being set is not contained in the list of values.




Solution

When you launch default NX (without choosing any defined NX Environments from the Teamcenter), the import operation fails with the below error.
The value being set is not contained in the list of values.

To fix this, enter the value "No Environment"  in the TC preference "TC_NX_Environments".

After this, when you launch the default NX, the import operation proceeds successfully allowing the attribute "Environment" to be saved with the empty value.
