Error 1330 A file that is required cannot be installed because cabinet file :\temp\nx12.0.2\...
ug11_N~1.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt. Error 24592 was returned by WinVerifyTrust.
Solution
The customer needs to try the following to put the certificates on the machine.
Highlight the SiemensNX*.msi file in File Explorer
RMB -> Properties, Digital Signatures tab and then highlight the "Siemens Product…" signature in the list, then click "Details".
On the next page, click "View Certificate"
Click on "Install Certificate…"
Select "Local Machine" then press "Next" (answer Yes on UAC pop-up if they have it configured on their machines)
Select "Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate" then press "Next"
Press "Finish" to install the Certificate.
They may need to install the GlobalSign certificate from either the SiemensNX*.msi or setup.exe.
RMB on SiemensNX*.msi or setup.exe -> Properties, Digital Signatures tab, highlight the Siemens Product… signature in the list, then push Details.
On the next screen highlight the GlobalSign countersignature and press Details.
On next page press View Certificate
On next page press Install Certificate… and then proceed to install to "Local Machine", "Automatically select…", then Finish.
