What is the best workflow to "repair" an incorrect Teamcenter BOM view for a Solid Edge assembly?
Solution
The following process should always work:
In Solid Edge open the top level assembly "read-only" and be sure all files are loaded to the SEEC cache and Solid Edge has loaded a complete assembly structure.
In the Teamcenter RAC delete the existing BOM-view
Close the RAC
In SEEC checkout and save and close the assembly
This will re-create the Solid Edge structure to a new Teamcenter BOM-view
As long as you are able to create a complete assembly in the SEEC cache there is no risk with this workflow.
