NX How to create Text in Modelling for use in Manufacturing Engraving

In the Manufacturing application we are to be able to create a 'Note for Engraving'.  (Once created, it can be edited in Modelling, but it must be first created in Manufacturing)

'Note for Engraving' is not available in the Modelling application.

Solution

PMI text may be created in the Modelling application, and may then be used for engraving. ( A PMI license is required)

As an alternative, if a PMI license unavailable, we can still create text in the Drafting application:

1. Open the Drafting application
2. Create a sheet ( or use an existing sheet)
3. 'Display Sheet' ( this toggles between the sheet and the model)

4.  Create a Note and position it on the model:   (we're still in Drafting application here)
