Why other users can't access my dashboard with fixed range data source in Business Intelligence, but not see any information from my diagrams?

Solution

When using a fixed range data source , the list of permitted users for the processed data is created each time the data source is processed. So if the users have been added afterwards, they're not on this list.

To fix the list of permitted users. Edit the data source in Business Intelligence Data and save it again, without actually changing anything , press the refresh button on the main page of Business Intelligence Data.

Other reasons which could limit user access to your dashboard:

  • When Business Intelligence user is not tenant admin: check their Insights Hub user has access to the displayed asset. 
    • If the Business Intelligence user is not admin: Check their credentials in Business Intelligence, user type (viewer, etc.) and the user group for any other restrictions.
