NX Selecting the 'PMI Logic Editor' in NX 1953 results in an error if no 'pts_author' license is available

Selecting the 'PMI - Rule - Define' command, to launch the PMI Logic Editor, results in "License Error: No such feature exists. [ -5]":

This error occurs if there license file does not include a Product Template Studio Author license ('pts_author').

Solution

This issue is resolved in the NX 1980 release, where the check for a Product Template Studio Author license ('pts_author') is removed.

A workaround to this to contact your Account Manager to obtain a temporary license for Product Template Studio.

(The product license prerequisites to run the PMI Logic Editor are NX PMI ('geomtric_tol') and NX Model Based Definition ('nx_mbd').)
