Solid Edge Master Component error message when inserting part in to assembly

In this scenario the user has created a sheet metal file which they then want to insert in to a new assembly.

This is the message that appears when the sheet metal file is inserted as a component into a new assembly (File ->New-> Assembly of active model)

Solution

In this instance the file contains a Divide Part configuration, hence the issue.  Access the "Divide Part" command, clear the entries and save the file.

Select the command Divide Part.  Then select and remove all entries.

Save the file and repeat the operation - now the sheet metal file should be able to be inserted into a new assembly without problem.
