STEP file not seen under Item Revision when saving to Teamcenter

In Teamcenter the user has defined the SEEC preference to turn on STEP file translation:

SEEC_Save_Translation=1:stp:IMAN_manifestation:Image:image:1 


However, the STEP file is not being generated when the Item Revision is saved/uploaded to Teamcenter.

Solution

Firstly, ensure that 'Save translation to Teamcenter' is activated in the Teamcenter tab.

Next you need to do a 'Save as Translated' - this will append the STEP file to the Item Revision.

The STEP file will subsequently be seen under the Item Revision in the Teamcenter RAC.
