NX Failure to record movie within NX due to Internal Error and AVI_MW ERROR in syslog

Failure to record movie within NX due to message box stating Internal error: memory access violation

The NX syslog shows following error trace back:
 AVI_MW ERROR: Exception encountered in MOVIEWRITER__Win_GetSupportedCodec

Solution

After confirming hardware and graphic driver are certified according to Siemens Hardware certification matrix, next check the NX syslog for existence of this entry:
   Loaded module c:\windows\system32\lvcod64.dll 7f840000 30000 0-0-0-0-0 version = 13.80.853.0


If exist, there was known issue with Lvcod64.dll (Logitech webcam dll) causing issue. 

The solution is to find and uninstall any application that uses this dll (Lvcod64.dll). Alternatively, try removing/renaming this from the <c:\windows\system32 folder>.
