Summary

Details

In Modeling Application, after editing Basic Light sources from View --> Visualization --> Basic Lights to adjust light sources the way you desire at the component level, the light source is not maintained at the assembly drawing level when you add a view in Drafting with view settings set to Shading as Fully Shaded in Rendering Style.

What do you have to do to get assembly drawing views to follow Basic Lights in Modeling?

Solution

At the assembly drawing level, you have to reset Basic Lights  and re-apply  Basic Lights in order for drafting view at assembly level to take effect.

View --> Visualization --> Basic Lights  --> "Reset to Default Lights"
