When creating special characters such as the Diameter symbol, Plus/minus, etcetera using Windows Alt codes, these special symbols are not being displayed correctly on the NX drawing sheet; they appear garbled or just a simple square:


Solution

Windows Alt code symbols will only show in the NX drafting application when the Font setting is using a Windows font (like Arial), and not with a NX font (like Blockfont).
