Insights Hub Questions Regarding Service Backups in Cloud Foundry

1) At what intervals are the backups taken? Are these backups taken automatically? Can this be changed?

2) How many days are these backups are retained?

• Backups are taken daily automatically, This cannot be changed by the customer
• If the customer needs more frequent backups, they can trigger manually in Dashboard or via API call.

• Backups are at least retained for 7 days and there are at least 7 successful backups available. This means if e.g. a backup fails for any reason (e.g. instance in parachute mode), then backups older 7d will not be deleted until there's again a new backup, and the number of backups would not be lower then 7 after deletion.
